One of the leading automotive concerns in Pakistan, Ghandhara Nissan, at the first stage plans to invest 2.4 billion Rs. to the automotive sector in cooperation with Chery Group, China, a leading brand in the Chinese automobile industry. The corresponding business plan was presented to the Board of Investment (BOI).
The range of the new production line will include various types of passenger cars, from hatchbacks and sedans to crossovers and SUVs.
Also in accordance with the Pakistan’s initiative to implement Electric Vehicle Policy (EVP), the company will present its electric vehicle lineup in the next two - three years.
